Julian is the Chief Operating Officer at Apricot Lane Farms, bringing over 20 years of experience in sustainable, organic, and regenerative agriculture, grounded in a BS in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Adelaide. He oversees all operations of the farm and its business operations, with a deep love for connecting with land and its stewards, and developing agricultural products to a sense of place. He spends his free time traveling, camping, surfing, mountain biking, or working outdoors with his wife Kira and their daughters, Hazel and Magnolia!

With deep family roots in biodynamic farming and seven years at Modern Farmer magazine, Lavender keeps the farm’s business operations running smoothly. After hours you’ll find her exercising the farm’s sole horse, Rico!

Previously working as a chef at some of the highest-rated restaurants in Los Angeles, Nathan is known as our “Chef in the Field,” with a commitment to detail driven by a passion for the best, most flavorful ingredients.

Shawn’s reverence for nature was seeded growing up on his grandparent’s farm. When not tending the bees or making compost, Shawn enjoys spending time in the elements with his wife and children.

When John was 7, his parents gave him his own part of the yard to grow flowers, food, and make compost. Except for his time at UC Berkeley earning his degree in Landscape Architecture, John has been doing that ever since. When he isn’t managing the care, planting, irrigation, pruning, and harvest of the farm’s 130 acres of fruit trees, you can find John at a concert, playing beach volleyball, or riding a unicycle!

Growing up on her family’s farm in Mexico, followed by a career in fruit processing, Marisela leads our Packhouse with her invaluable experience and a keen eye for detail.

Raised in the countryside in El Salvador, Rosa returns to her farming roots as our Housekeeping Lead. Directing her team to create a safe and clean environment for all, Rosa is an integral part of the ALF family. When she isn’t on the farm, Rosa can be found enjoying one of her many hobbies including traveling, making jewelry, and developing new cooking recipes.
